Dr. LeRhonda Manigault-Bryant is the director of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill鈥檚 . She navigates the academy as a scholar-artist, where she merges her life as a musician and filmmaker with her interdisciplinary specializations in Religious Studies, Africana Studies, and Gender Studies, all with a focus on ethnographic methods. In addition to publishing several books, as the founder of media company ConjureGirlBlue Productions, Dr. Manigualt-Bryant investigates community practices, pop cultural development, and the impact of new technologies to critically explore how Black women through the diaspora engage religion and spirituality to navigate the contours of everyday life.
